Review: The Sandman (full cast audiobook version)

I decided to remove this review. I had written nothing profound, but that's not why.

Neil Gaiman is trash. If you wanna experience anything he profits from, steal it.

You don't need to read that recently released paywalled article. I read enough of it for you before I had to quit. I watch documentaries and read nonfiction about sexual violence all of the time, often to an unhealthy extent, and this was bad. I quit about 2/3 of the way through because it was too graphic, too personal, and disgusting. If you need a reason to accept that another fake feminist dude weaponized everything you believe in so he could hide his monstrous nature- here's a bypass- remove the spaces from https :// archive . is/2n1F6

(obvious CW for everything, including child abuse)

Tl;dr he's goth Weinstein with a (nonconsensual) BDSM twist. It feels grosser because I don't recall Weinstein ever claiming that he was just kinky or sexually liberated or whatever the fuck...

I'm very glad that these books never meant much to me aside from being part of goth and related subcultures I've found myself in. Luckily it doesn't break my heart in that way. If you got something out of it, that's fine. You can keep that for yourself without defending or paying him. You owe this scumbag nothing.
